Community Mailbox

Hidden in a quiet guesthouse in Xishuangbanna stands our community mailbox — a small wooden bridge connecting travelers and children from distant mountain schools.

Visitors from across China, and even abroad, stop to leave handwritten notes of kindness, encouragement, or curiosity.

Each envelope carries a piece of someone’s journey, waiting to be opened by a child who may never meet its sender but will surely feel its warmth. Over time, these letters have turned a single mailbox into a living archive of connection and compassion.

In the future, we plan to collect letters monthly, create an online gallery to showcase these exchanges, and invite volunteers to help respond, keeping this gentle circle of dialogue alive and growing.
